Hey Inquisitive writers! So, are you down in the dumps with your blog recently? Feel like you want to give up? Well, I rounded up some blogging tips & tricks to help you want to have fun with your blog.
Sometimes I just find blogging exhausting, you know? Trying to get more readers, likes, comments, etc. It’s easy to get caught up with that kind of stuff. But, I try to do these 4 things down below when I feel that way.
**By the way, I am NOT a blogging expert. These are all MY opinions, you don’t have to necessarily follow them, I’m just suggesting them.**
1. Write posts you are passionate about
If you don’t know what to write about, then don’t write! You should try to write quality content while sticking with a blog schedule. Do not write a post every day that you are not passionate about, that makes a boring blog. You’ll get sick of your blog, which you should have fun doing!
2. Change up your theme
When I have my same old theme for months on end, sometimes I get tired of it. So why not change it up? There are many free and paid WordPress.org and WordPress.com themes to choose from. I changed my theme multiple times throughout my 2 years of blogging.
3. Not be on so many social media platforms
Even though you might think that being on 5 other social media platforms would be better for your blog, but it could to the opposite. Trying to keep up with It can honestly stress you out, which you shouldn’t be doing to yourself! I also wrote a post explaining how it’s not good to be on so many platforms.

4. Take a break
What’s wrong with taking a little break? You are probably checking your notifications every few minutes, or seconds. It’s better to wait one or two (or more) days, then check your notifications. I used to be on my computer & phone – all the time. I’d check my notifications every few seconds, but when I stopped and checked once every few days, I got more notifications, and I was happier.
Do you sometimes get carried away with blogging? How do you make blogging fun?
