Hey Inquisitive writers! So I wanted to recreate a post that I did about 3 years ago when my blog was still a fetus: photography posts.
Though I’m not such an amatuer anymore because I finally got a camera y’all 📷 I got it a couple months ago because I was in this photography club in my town and a camera was required to join, so that motivated me to get a camera.
But even way back when in 2015 I made photography posts with the pictures I took with my phone:
But here are some photos I took a couple of weeks/months ago:
Bubbles in NYC!
A new perspective
The Brooklyn Bridge!
By the way all these NYC photos were from a couple of months ago when the photography club went on a fun trip to NYC.
As you can see I favor snapping pictures of flowers and plants. It’s one of my favorite things about spring actually. The fact that beauty can show through any size or type of flower is pretty cool to me. I personally like peonies and daisies the best. But even though I like flowers, I’ve always speculated why people give them to each other as gifts. You’re just giving me dead flowers 🥀. I’d honestly rather get fake flowers because they last forever and I don’t have to manage them. I also accept flower seeds, so I can grow and take care of the flower from the beginning.
On the other hand I do indeed feel like I made some progress in the art of photography. Three years definitely makes a difference! I think the reason I really like photography is that every picture captures a moment, a memory. It can tell a good story. The popular saying that a picture tells a thousand words is true pretty much. It doesn’t matter how you’re taking a picture or what you’re taking a picture with; it matters that you expressing art that lasts forever.
