What was that?

Part I

She sat there,

eating her delicious mashed potatoes

Not having a care in the world.

Rumble, rumble

What was that?

She thought it was her stomach.

But was it?

“Hey, what was that?” she asked with a trembling voice

“I don’t know. Let’s check the news.”

But it was too late.

The screaming already filled the room.

Part II

There was nothing but blackness.

Hollowness.

Nothingness.

What happened? Where is everything? she thought.

“Are you ok?” “Jovana? Stop acting silly.”

“I’m fine, thank you for asking.”

“It’s just a little thunderstorm.”

“Whatever.”

So this was my most recent experience with ANOTHER thunderstorm (though it wasn’t that severe…) and I have another experience you can see here.

What do you think of thunderstorms? Or do you enjoy the rain?

  1. I enjoy thunderstorms as long as I’m at home and not out driving in them. I love how everything gets dark and scary, then when it’s all over the sun comes out and you can hear the birds chirping. It’s refreshing to me.

    1. Yeah, I kind of get that.
